U.S. Visa Applicants in Kuwait Update

Attention U.S. Visa Applicants in Kuwait:

A new requirement has been introduced for the DS-160 Confirmation Number.

To enhance security measures, the barcode on your Online Non-immigrant Visa Application Confirmation (DS-160 Confirmation Number) should match the DS-160 Confirmation Number on your Appointment Confirmation letter.

It is crucial to update your Online Visa Application Confirmation (DS-160) barcode in the appointment system at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Kindly print a new Appointment Confirmation reflecting any updates.

Starting December 8, 2024, presenting an Online Visa Application Confirmation (DS-160) barcode that does not correspond to the one on your Appointment Confirmation letter will result in denial of entry to the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate. In such cases, a new appointment will be necessary. Failure to provide a DS-160 Confirmation page with the matching barcode number used for scheduling your appointment will lead to the cancellation of your visa interview appointment.
